Vide Notification No. S.O. 160 (E) dated 17th January 2017, Bala Mandir now has approval under Section 35AC of IT Act, 1961 for the following two projects – (1) Corpus for Schools (2) Corpus for VocationalTraining Centre (VTC). Now the donors will get IT deduction for 100% of the amount donated by themfor these projects. Due to change in IT rules this facility is available only for donations made till 31 st March 2017. Corporates can additionally include their donation under the 2% CSR limit. The interest earned from the proposed Corpus funds for Schools and VTC are intended to provide stability to support the bridge the gap in funding in these two important activities of Bala Mandir.
