The Sports Day of the Vidyalaya Primary & Nursery School/ Creche and Day Care Centre was held on 24th February 2016. Mrs. Leela Rajagopal, who has been teaching under-privileged children for the past 25 years and is a well-wisher of Bala Mandir was the Chief Guest. All the children participated in the various innovative relay races planned by the teachers.  Each race helped the children to not only show-case their skills but highlighted the concept of Learning through Play.  All children in the school received a “toy” as a take home gift from their Sports Day.
