The Satyamurthi Higher Secondary School had their Annual Day celebration on the 19th August 2023.

The theme of the day’s event was “Values – Pathway to Success”.

Dr. G J Manohar – Correspondent/ Principal, MCC Higher Secondary School was the Chief Guest. 

The Annual Report for the Academic Year 2022-23 was followed by a Cultural Programme. 

Welcome dance by the girls of Standard XI and XII, was followed by a Tamil skit which depicted the importance of truthfulness and honesty to be followed, and that to be inculcated at the School itself. 

The next was the rendition of a song by the Choir group on the values we learn from going to School and an English play which depicted the different curricular and co-curricular activities of the school for the holistic development of the students. This was followed by a dance on learning life skills such as aiming and achieving the goals irrespective of challenges, staying confident and trying harder to reach the goals. The final one was a Mime which depicted the good values insisted upon, and followed by our school.

Prize Distribution was then held, where the children were given Certificates, Medals and a book or a cash prize initiated by donors. These were given to appreciate and acknowledge the children for their achievement in Academics, Good conduct and Regular attendance to school.

A special prize was also given for Excellence in English – instituted by another donor.

The Rolling Shield for the year 2022-23 given to the Best House for Conduct and Academics was won by the Manjubhashini House and The Excellence In Teaching award for the year 2022-23 was given to Mr. D Vignesh.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Manohar expressed his appreciation on the values depicted through the Cultural Programme and encouraged the students to follow the values for their own betterment in life.
