Annual Day celebration of Bala Mandir Vidyalaya Nursery & Primary School was held on Saturday, 26th August 2023; the theme of the day being “Values – Pathway to Success”.
Dr. Revathi Parameshwaran – Principal, P.S.Senior Secondary School was the Chief Guest of the day.
The Annual Report for the Academic year 2022 – 2023 was shared followed by the Cultural Programme.
The cultural programme consisted of (i) Fashion walk by KG students on the theme “Dress out of waste”, (ii) Choir singing by the students of Standard II - V, (iii) a dance by Standard I & II on the song “Azhage Azhagu” (iv) a Tamil drama which portrayed the holistic approach of curriculum and facilities provided by the school for the students of Vidyalaya (v) a Flower dance by the students of Standard III, IV and V, (vi) an English play that brought out the importance of kindness, empathy and humanity (vii) the last one being a dance on different traditional games for the song “Veyilodu Vilayadi” by the students of Standard I & II.
The programme was enjoyed by everyone. Prize Distribution followed, for a total of 42 children, each of whom were presented with a certificate, a medal and a book for achievement in various areas such as Academics, Good Conduct and Attendance.
These awards were:
- S.MANJUBHASHINI MEMORIAL AWARD FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE 2022-23
- CERTIFICATE OF PERFECT ATTENDANCE 2022-23
- CERTIFICATE FOR EXCELLENCE IN CONDUCT 2022-23
There was also an award for EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING 2022-23 that was awarded to Ms. Gayathri Murugan for the Academic year 2022 – 2023.
The Chief Guest shared her appreciations on the presentation of the cultural programme and the initiatives of the school.
